Color Combo Challenge

I love the colors Pattie chose for our challenge this week. It makes me think of Spring and I am so ready for warm weather. This image is called "Arianna" and it is one of my favorites from Michelle. The designer paper is by DCWV and the image was colored with watercolor pencils and blender pens. I also used SU More Mustard and Passion Pink for the matting. Embellished with silk flowers and a lime brad for the center. Please visit our blog to see creations by other DT members of Michelle's Inspiration and Design.

Looking Forward to Spring

This image from Digital Two for Tuesday made me think of Spring. It is title Fairy 1 and  I think she looks like she is doing a dance. I'm sure all of those who live in the part of the country that has had a lot of snow will be doing a Spring Dance as soon as the first flowers bloom. Now for the details about my card. The image was colored with prisma watercolor pencils and a blender pen. The paper is from DCWV. I used the Fiskars lace punch on black textured cardstock and the flowers are silk with a brad for the center. Be sure to stop by Digital Two for Tuesday and check out the other free images.

New Cards to Share

Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to spend the day with Darlene in her stamp room. Here are just two of the cards I created. I always seem to be more creative when I am with friends. It is so nice to share materials and ideas. Hope you enjoy my efforts.

This image is from Digital Two for Tuesday and was colored
using prisma watercolor pencils and blender pen.

Paper: SU Garden Green
           Whisper White
           SU Olive Green
           DCWV Frogs

Embellishments: Flora Doodles flowers

I love this image from Free Antique Images. My friend, Darlene, inspired me to try my hand at vintage cards. When I found these papers, I knew they would be perfect for this image. Other details:

Paper: DCWV Roses
           DCWV leaves
           SU Garden Green
           Ivory and Mauve mini flowers
           self stick gems

I hope you have enjoyed viewing my cards, as much as I enjoyed creating them.
Thanks for visiting my blog and please stop by often.
