Tag You're It

Once again I am excited to tell you about the new challenge at the Sisterhood.  As you can see by the title of this post, our challenge is to make a tag, which could be used on any project. For my creation, I chose this vintage photo from Pinterest. I haven't made many tags, so I am very happy with the way this one turned out. The tag and sentiment were aged using a dauber and SU Sepia ink. Also added some to the image to give it an aged look.

I am trying to decide whether to keep this tag and use it on a gift or make a piece of framed art. The sentiment is from Hellen Keller "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart."

 And now for the recipe:

Tag: Julie Nutting Prima Tags

Frame for sentiment: DCWV Heirloom Collection, White cardstock for sentiment

Ink: SU Sepia, Memories Black

Embellishments: Charms by Pixie Press, Ivory Sheer Satin Ribbon

Stickers: Special Moments Scrapbooking

Why not join in the fun this week at the Sisterhood Challenge blog? You will find lots of inspiration from the sistahs' and the other players.

Thanks for stopping by today and please come again soon.

  1. Beautiful job on your tag Terri! I too struggle with tags ... don't use them so don't make them! LOL! But I sure love all the ones I see online! Maybe I'll start making them and just hoard them! LOL! Awesome job ... hope you're enjoying your retirement!
