Rest In Peace

No project post today. We had to have our beloved Savanna put down. We adopted her from a local humane society four years ago and she was such a blessing.

During that time she suffered from many issues including blindness from cataracts, bladder infections and skin infection. Some how she always managed to get through the worst and bring us much joy.

She would have been 13 years old in August. Although we are sad for her loss, we didn't want to see her suffer any longer.

Rest in peace, sweet Savanna. We will never forget your beautiful face and spirit.

Terri

  2. Oh Terri..here is a BIG hug to you..I am so very sorry!! I can relate as my Nellie is going to be 10 in August and her health is not good, I have been up all night with her as she had 2 back to back seizures, and I really thought I was going to lose her, I woke my husband up as he heard me crying. I feel like I have been out on an all night binge (not that I would know what that is ...lol)...but I feel your pain!!

    1. Thank you for your condolences, Diane. Hope Nellie is doing better. It is always a hard decision to make. Savanna's quality of life was diminishing quickly and just couldn't watch her suffer anymore. She is now at peace.
