May I Be Frank

Today we begin our first challenge at "The Crafty Addicts" and I am thrilled to be a part of this exciting new challenge blog. This is a month long challenge and is posted the first Wednesday of each month. We have two sponsors for our first challenge: Inky Impressions and Robyn's Fetish. The winner of this challenge will win three images from each sponsor.

For my first project, I created this card using an image from Robyn's Fetish called "Frankie Frankenstein". I just couldn't resist that sweet little face.

I started with a base of white card stock, then adhered a panel of DCWV designer paper. The mats around the image and sentiment were cut from Reflections black and cocoa card stock. Brown satin ribbon was laced through the button holes and tied in a knot, then adhered with glue dots. I colored the image with my Prisma color pencils and Gamsol. Last I tied brown satin dotted ribbon around the left side to finish the project.

I typed the sentiment for the front and inside of my card on the computer. The sentiment on the inside reads "You don't look a day older than last year".

I can hardly wait to see what images we will be working with for next month's challenge.. I know Erin, our team leader, has some wonderful sponsors lined up for these challenges. Please stop by check out our challenge blog and meet our Design Team.  Erin has posted introductions for each of the members and pictures of some of their work.

Please stop by and check out our challenge and meet the Team. I know you will be inspired by their creativity.

Until next time,

Terri
