School Time

It's time for a new challenge at the Sisterhood, hosted by Agata. All the little kiddies are getting ready to go back to school, so your challenge is to create a project using anything related to school.

I loved shopping for all the new school supplies. Do you remember the smell of new crayons or markers? It was so exciting to see all those friends you missed over the summer and make new friends.

Here is my creation for this challenge.

Alphabet designer paper by DCWV was used for the background. The chalkboard was created using black card stock and cutting a ruler sticker down to create the top and bottom boarders fo the chalkboard. I matted the "school days" sticker with black card stock and adhered to the top of the card. Then I adhered the A+ and reading, writing, arithmetic stickers with glue runner to the chalkboard. I used pop dots to add the crayons. The blue satin ribbon added the finishing touch.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
     Artistic Inspirations - AnythingGoes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes

My oldest granddaughter begins 2nd grade this fall and my grandson will attend his second year of preschool, so I want to send this card to them to wish them good luck.
I think I will place some sticker sheets inside as an added surprise.

Do you have someone going back to school this fall? Why not create a special card or  gift for them and share it with the Sisterhood? Why not leave a little love for the sistahs after checking out the fabulous inspiration projects they have created for you?

Put on those thinking caps and get busy. Who knows, you might be one of our top winners?

Have a great day!

Hugs from Ohio,

Terri
