Sunflower Smoochie

Today we begin Challenge 7 at Crafting With An Attitude. Our sponsor for this month is Lemon Shortbread and the prize is 3 images. Before I share my project with you, I have some sad news to share. The owner of the Crafting With An Attitude challenge blog, Erin Bentley has to step down for family reasons. The Design Team will miss her, but we hope everything will work out for her family and she will be back soon. We wish her all the best.

I have agreed to become the new owner of the challenge blog. This is a new venture for me and I will try my best to do a good job. My plans are to keep everything set up the same way as Erin. The Design Team are giving me lots of support and I can't put into words how much I appreciate all of them.

Okay, now that's out of the way, here is my project for this challenge.

I think this image shows how the weather is here in Northeast Ohio. The sunflowers are in full bloom, temps in the high 80's and low 90's with lots of humidity. It doesn't look like a change in the forecast for at least a week.

DCWV designer papers were used for the background and the mats. The image is called "Sunflower Smoochie" by Lemon Shortbread Designs. She was colored with Prisma color pencils and gamsol. The flowers, butterfly and fence are stickers I found in my stash. The grass and vines are die cuts and were adhered with glue dots around the fence for dimension. I love the white ribbon embroidered with flowers. I think it is perfect for the finishing touch.

Check out the inspiration by my Team members, then get busy on your creation to share with us. Remember, this is an Anything Goes challenge.

Hope you have a beautiful relaxing day.

Hugs from Ohio,
Terri
