Beautiful Butterflies

On Friday I made a trip to a local Michael's to check out the 12" x 12" paper pads they had on sale for 70% off, then on to Pat Catan's for a couple of items I needed. While there, I found 2 pads of card toppers by Hot Off The Press that could be colored with markers or colored pencils. One is florals and one is butterflies. (Although both have floral and butterfly pages.)

The butterfly background paper is from one of the paper pads I purchased at Michaels called "Tea Party" by Craft Smith.
I colored the image with Prisma Color Scholar pencils and blended with a blender pencil. I love the creamy rich colors of these pencils. The border was colored with Faber Castell metalic pencils. I used pop dots to give the image panel some dimension and finished my card by adding violet organdy ribbon in a bow. I am trying to build a stash of cards that can be used for many different occasions, so I didn't add a sentiment.

I am having so much coloring these toppers. There are a total of 16 toppers in each pad with 4 different designs. This should keep me busy for awhile.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. Have a beautiful day.

Hugs,
Terri
