Butterfly Garden

I have tried for the past couple of years to start a butterfly garden in my backyard. Unfortunately, it is hard to get some plants to grow due to the red clay base under the top soil. But I am not giving up. I keep adding top soil and plant fertilizer in the hopes that one day I will succeed. So for now I will settle for these beautiful butterfly and flower images.

For this card I used another sheet of designer paper from my "Tea Party" pad by Craft Smith found at Michael's.

I colored the image with Prisma colored pencils and Faber Castell metallic pencils. I love the soft pink color of the flowers and I am very happy with the way my butterfly came out. The image panel is given dimension with pop dots and I used pink sating ribbon to finish my card. I didn't add a sentiment because I haven't decided how I will use this card. It could be used for almost any occasion, except a masculine card.

These toppers are a great way to make a card quickly. I never seem to have the right card on hand when I need one. I have lots of cards, but most of them are note cards. I am trying to get ahead on cards that I can just add a sentiment and get in the mail.

Just a reminder. Don't forget to stop by the Sisterhood tomorrow for the new challenge. My sistah's have created some fabulous inspiration projects.

Well, that's it for today. Hope you stop by again soon.

Hugs,
Terri
