Fairy Fae

Today begins a new challenge at the Crafting With An Attitude. Since we lost our sponsor for this month, this will be a "just for fun" challenge. The Design Team could use any image they chose and I think you will find lots of inspiration in their projects.

I chose to use this beautiful fairy by Teri Sherman at ArtiDoodles. She is called "Fae". I just love the butterflies and her long wavy hair.

I used designer paper from DCWV's "Painted Petals Stack" for the background. The mat around the image is from the same pack. The image is colored with Joann Crafts colored pencils. I found the butterfly stickers at our local dollar store. Aren't they gorgeous. I have had these brads for long, I don't remember where I bought them. (I'm sure they were in a clearance bin at one of the craft stores.) Last I added the lace strip and violet satin ribbon. The glare from the silver foil on the butterfly makes it look like part of the image wasn't colored. It is really hard to get a clear picture when using foiled stickers, but I think you get the idea.

I love working with Teri's images. She does gothic images for those of you who are into goth. Teri is a fabulous artist and she was so generous in sponsoring our challenge in January.

Now, why not head over to Crafting With An Attitude and join in the fun? We would love to see your creations.

Have a great day!

Hugs,
Terri
