Clean & Simple

Today's challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters is hosted by Nancy with the theme:
"Clean & Simple"
Nancy will be stepping down after this challenge, so please stop by the Sisterhood of Crafters  and wish her good luck in future ventures.

For my project, I chose to make a card using a stamp set by Hampton Art. It was so much fun coloring in all of these sweet flowers and butterflies using fine tipped markers by Mead.
One layer cards are always a challenge for me, but I think this stamp set is perfect for this type of card. Can you believe I found this stamp set and 5 others at our local Dollar Tree store for $1 each? The ribbon is from Reasonable Ribbon. I just love the rich colors and textures of their ribbons.

So that's my project for today. Now why not head on over to the Sisterhood and check out my sistah's inspiration projects and enter the challenge? You have until 8pm, Sunday March 4th to enter. Limit of 3 entries per person.

Hope to see you there.

A Banner Year

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a fun new challenge? Then head on over to the Sisterhood of Crafters for our next challenge. I am thrilled to be the hostess and I have chosen the theme:
"A Banner Year"
This past year brought a few difficulties, but I am only going to focus on the good and looking forward to a great year spent with family and friends.
I purchased a British Magazine "Cardmaking" and the free stamp set was all baking images. I began with this bright striped designer paper. Next I added the chipboard banner sticker. I used my Nestibilities scalloped circle die to create the mat for my image. The image was stamped with Fun Stampers Journey "black licorice" ink and then cut out with my Nestibilities circle die. I cut a piece of ribbon into a banner and then added the strip of white with the sentiment on top. Last I added a bow from the same ribbon. The image was colored with Spectrum Noire colored pencils.

Why not head on over to the Sisterhood and join in the fun. My sistahs have some beautiful inspiration projects to share with you.

Remember you have until 8pm Sunday February 25th to enter. Limit of 3 entries per person.

Hugs,
Terri

Sweet Birthday

Hello everyone! It is my turn once again to host the challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters. The theme for this challenge is "A Banner Year".

Please create a card or project with banners, pennants, flags, etc. as your focus.
The cake and sentiment are from a stamp set created especially for Creative Stamping Magazine. It is called "Sprinkled With Love" and includes 16 image stamps and 13 sentiments.

Starting with a white cardstock base, I then added this beautiful striped paper by the Paper Studio. I used my scalloped and circle Nestibilities to created the panel for a frame around the cake. Pop dots were used to give the cake image dimension and the image was colored with Spectrum Noire pencils. The sentiment frame was created using a strip of violet cardstock and white cardstock. Last I added the purple grosgrain ribbon.

Now it is your turn to head on over to the Sisterhood and play along. My sistahs have some gorgeous inspiration projects to share with you.

The challenge ends 8pm Sunday, February 25th. Limit of 3 entries per person.

Hope to see you there.
