Lookin' Sharp

Diane is the hostess for the next challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters that begins today and here theme is:
"Cozy Plaid"
I decided to use my new Truly Taylored stamp set from Stampin' Up and matching punch for this challenge.
Beginning with a brown card stock base I added plaid paper from DCWV. Then I cut 3 squares from brown card stock, cut one in half for the collar and added the third for a pocket. After stamping and fussy cutting the glasses, I added them to the pocket. Then I stamped the sentiment, punched it out and adhered it to a piece fo brown card stock. Using my scissors, I trimmed the brown to about 1/4" around the sentiment for a mat. Last I add the orange red buttons.

My older brother has a birthday coming up in November. I think I will send this card to him. He wears a lot of polo shirts, so this will be perfect.

If you are looking for a fun challenge, head on over to the Sisterhood and share you creations with us. The sisters have some beautiful inspiration projects to help you get started. Remember there is a limit of 3 entries per person.

Hope to see you there.
