Lavender Bouquet

The Sisterhood of Crafters begins a new challenge today with Debbie as our hostess. The theme for this challenge is:
"Stitched Dies"
When I found a pack of 3D decoupage flowers, I knew they would be perfect for this challenge.
The base of the card is a piece of Recollections lavender card stock. Next I added this beautiful piece of lace, then the oval stitched die panel. Then I began layering the 3D flower pieces and added white pearls to the corners. I did not add a sentiment because I am not sure how I will use this card. It would make a beautiful Birthday, Sympathy, Thinking of You, Get Well or Encouragement card.

If you would like to take part in this challenge, just head on over to the Sisterhood, check out the other team members inspiration projects and enter your own creation.

Have a wonderful day!

Angel Music

Today at LeAnn's World 101, I shared a project for my inspiration post using the image "Musica" found here.

I started with a base of white card stock and added a panel of Christmas Reindeer designer paper. Next I cut a 2 1/2" square, cut it in half diagonally and added a piece to the top left and bottom right corners. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and I used a gold glitter gel pen for the harp. Using my Cuttlebug, I cut the mat and the image panel with cross stitched rectangle dies. The image was adhered to the mat with pop dots to add dimension. The sentiment was stamped with India ink onto a strip of white card stock and adhered to a strip of the Reindeer paper. The sentiment strip was also adhered to the bottom right hand corner with pop dots. The gold metallic ribbon was added to coordinate with the gold on the harp.

I hope you will stop by LeAnn's World 101 and join in on the fun. This is a month-long, "Anything Goes" challenge. The design team has created some gorgeous projects for your inspiration.

Hugs,
Terri

Darlene is the hostess of the next challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters and the theme is:
"Mood Board"
Create a card or project using the photos below as your inspiration.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and so I chose this beautiful photo found on Pinterest to create my Thanksgiving card.

The base card is medium brown card stock, then I created a mat with Pumkin card stock. The leaf stems were created using a Sizzix die. The leaf stem is actually bigger than the pieces on the card, but I cut a few leaves off each stem so it would fit better. Then I added the pearls for dimension. I love the verse. It reminds me to always be thankful for God's blessings.

Why not stop by the Sisterhood and see the inspiration projects the team has to share and then enter your creations?

Hope to see you there.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sheena

Time for a new challenge at LeAnn's World 101. I chose this lovely image of Sheena as the focus of my card. You can find this image in LeAnn's Etsy shop here:
I started with a base card of white and added a mat of SU's Rose card stock. Next I added two different design papers by DCWV. The image was colored with Spectrum Noire pencils and fussy cut, then adhered with pop dots for dimension. The sentiment was stamped with black India ink onto a piece of white card stock and punched out with SU's 1 1/4" circle punch and adhered to a scalloped circle of Rose cardstock, with pop dots. I used a piece of lace for embellishment down the right side and added a piece of green grosgrain ribbon for accent. Last I added 3 white silk flowers with pearl centers and 3 floral stems with white pearls.

Stop by LeAnn's World 101 and check out the other inspiration projects by the design team and enter your creation. Hope to see you there.

Hugs from Ohio,
Terri

Rora Kay's Pumpkin and Sunflower Farm

Today I would like to share my project for the Crafting With An Attitude Challenge. The image is from our sponsor's shop - Lacy Sunshine - and can be found here.

All designer papers are from a fall pack by DCWV. I started with a base card of white and added the striped paper. Next I adhered the strip of green to the bottom of the card. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and adhered to the card front. Using SU's "Always Artichoke" ink I added the sentiment and brushed the edges with the same ink after punching out with my fancy label punch. Pop dots were used to give the sentiment panel dimension. Last I added the green ribbon and flower.

Why not stop by Lacy Sunshine's shop and check out her other amazing images. Then join us at Crafting With An Attitude with your creations. Limit of 3 entries per person. My design team have some beautiful inspiration projects to share with you.

Have a great day.
