Sandi Lee is the host for this week's challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters. This is a color challenge using aqua, red and silver. I pulled out my pad of Martha Stewart Christmas papers that just happened to be red and aqua.
Since I was at my friend, Darlene's, for a play date, she printed out this beautiful picture of silver bells and the corner dies for me. She also had these cute little snowflakes left over from a project she had been working on. Thanks Dar for helping me create this card. You are always an inspiration.
I have entered this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Fresh Brewed - Anything Goes Christmas
Crafty Creations Challenges - Happy Holiday
Okay, now it's your turn. Head on over to the Sisterhood for more inspiration from my talented team members, then enter your project.
Hugs,
Terri

The Big Present
For today's challenge at Crafting With An Attitude, I chose this image "Big Present" by That Craft Place as the focus.
I used colored pencils to color the image, then fussy cut and adhered to the die cut oval panel with dimensionals. The background paper is from DCWV. Next I wrapped red organdy ribbon around the base card like a package and added a red organdy double bow. Last I added the little red pointsettias and a large white silk flower.
I'm sure there are lots of kids hoping for a big present like this from Santa. Do you have your letter for Santa written? Only 23 more days till Christmas and still so much to do. I wanted to get my tree up this weekend and start baking cookies, but I have my grandson's Chrismas program on Friday, a card class Saturday morning and a Christmas Party Saturday night. Hopefully I will have time to work on some of my projects after church on Sunday.
Now why not head on over to Crafting An Attitude and check out more inspiration from my Design Team, then share your projects with us. You could be one of our winners.
Hugs from Ohio,
Terri

Jolly Santa
A new challenge begins today at The Crafty Addicts with Anything Goes or alternate theme "Tis the Season". I chose this image of Santa by Robyn's Fetish.
I started with a base card of white card stock and added Christmas designer paper by DCWV. After coloring Santa with colored pencils, I fussy cut around him and ahered him to the designer paper. Next I die cut two Memory Box "Snowflake corners" and used mono glue to adhere to the card. Last I glued 2 different sizes of felt pointsettia petals together and added pearls to the center. The pointsettia was adhered using mono glue.
What a quick and easy card to put together. Now I just have to get all my Christmas cards together and get them ready for mailing. The time is certainly flying by quickly.
Well that's all I have for today. I hope you have time to relax during this busy time of year.
Hugs,
Terri

Christmas Pointsettia
Thanksgiving is over and we are officially in the Christmas holiday mood. Time to get out the Christmas music, decorate the tree and start baking cookies. Christmas shopping is done, but presents need to be wrapped, Christmas cards addressed and mailed.
But before I start on all of that, I wanted to share this card with you.
I used white card stock for the base then cut a mat from DCWV's Silver Lining Stack. Aren't those silver swirls gorgeous. Next I used my Spellbinders Pointsettia dies to create the flower and added silver glitter for the center. The sentiment was stamped with Brilliance "Moonlight White" ink onto a black strip and adhered the pointsettia. Last I added white organdy and black satin ribbon tied in a knot.
I like this card so much, I might just keep it for myself. Maybe I will put it in a silver frame to set out every Christmas.
Off to start on my decorating and baking. Hope you will stop by again soon.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Terri
