Snow Much Fun

The snow has finally decided to fall here in Northeast Ohio. From around 10 am yesterday morning until sometime early this morning we received 8-10 inches of snow with a temperature of 18 degrees and a windchill of minus 1. Time to get out those snow shovels and tunnel our way out.

For my inspiration project at LeAnn's World 101, I chose this sweet image of Holly and her snowman that you can find here.
The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and adhered to a black mat. A piece of Anna Griffin foiled card designer card stock was layered onto a white card stock base and then the image panel was added. The sentiment was stamped with Momento black ink onto a strip of white card stock and mounted onto a strip of black card stock. Pop dots were used to give the sentiment panel some dimension.

There is still time to enter the challenge at LeAnn's World 101. Stop by and check out the inspiration projects. You could be our next winner.

Hugs,
Terri

Vintage Skaters

Hello everyone! The Sisterhood of Crafters begins a new year of challenges today and the theme is "Make It Sparkle."

I found this beautiful picture of vintage skaters on Pinterest to use as my focus.
I started with a base card of light blue. I printed the image twice. Using a clear glue, I added diamond dust to the pond for sparkling ice. (The diamond dust doesn't show up very well in the photo, but in person it is beautiful. Makes it look like shimmering ice.)Next I fussy cut around the couple and used pop dots to add to the image panel. Red line tape was used to add lace around the black mat as a frame and the image panel was glued to the mat. Red line tape was used to adhere the mat to the card front.

If you would like to take part in a fun challenge, head on over to the Sisterhood, check out the sistah's inspiration projects and enter your creation. Limit of 3 entries per person.

Hope to see you there.

Sledding

Hello and Happy New Year! I am so excited to begin a new year of challenges at the Crafting With An Attitude challenge blog.

For this month's challenge, I chose this sweet image called "Reggie's Winter Sled Fun" by our sponsor Color of Love formerly known as Lacy Sunshine.
Image was colored with Prismacolor pencils. DCWV designer paper was layered onto a tan card base and then I added a piece of brown card stock on the bottom. After placing the image panel to the left, I added the large pearls. Last I added a piece of green grosgrain ribbon tied in a knot and the sentiment adhered with pop dots for dimension.

Come and join the fun at Crafting With An Attitude. You could be out next winner of 3 digi images. The design team has been busy creating gorgeous inspiration projects.

Happy New Year.
Terri

Ice Skating

LeAnn's World 101 begins a new year of challenges today. For my first project of the new year I chose this sweet image of Eric found here.
The card base is light blue, then a black panel was adhered on top. After coloring the image with Prismacolor pencils I adhered it to the black panel. I found the blue metalic flowers in my stash and thought they would make great snowflakes. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white card stock then layered onto a strip of black. I added black grosgrain ribbon tied in a knot and adhered the panel with pop dots.

I hope you will head on over to LeAnn's World 101, check out the team's inspiration projects and join in the fun.

Hugs from Ohio,
Terri
