Pete

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share a project for my first inspiration post at LeAnn's World 101.

I started with a white card stock base and added a panel green paper. Next I added a brown mat for the image panel. Using a light green ink I stamped the background trees, then added medium green trees and last used a darker green for the trees closest to Pete. The image was colored with Prisma color pencils. I fussy cut around the image and added pop dots for dimension and then added the three flowers in the corner. You can find this darling image here.

You still have time to enter our current challenge at LeAnn's World 101. We would love to see your creations. The design team have some fabulous ispiration projects to share, so stop by and give us a shout.

Time to Laugh

The theme for the new challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters, hosted by Darlene is:
"Humor"
Created a card or project that shows us what you find funny.
The stamp I used on my project has been in my stash for quite some time. I was having a hard time finding a sentiment to go with it when I remembered I had purchased a couple of funny sentiment stamps a couple of years ago.
 (front)

(inside)
The card base was created using white card stock and adding the striped paper by DCWV. SU's scalloped punch was used to create the black mats and SU's circle punch was used to create the gray panel for the sentiment and face stamps. Wiggle eyes were adhered with clear glue. The inside sentiment was stamped onto a white strip and adhered to a black strip. Pop dots were used to add dimension to the inside sentiment panel. Last I added 3 white pearls to the upper right hand corner.

The design team would love to see your humorous projects, so why not head on over to the Sisterhood and enter the challenge?

Happy Crafting!

Wanderer

For new challenge at Crafting With An Attitude, I wanted to do a fall scene. My husband and I love to hike in the wood's when time permits so for the focus of my card I chose this image from Sheepski Designs called Wanderer.
Starting with a white card stock base, I then added the beautiful forest image found on Pinterest. After coloring the digi of the Wanderer and squirrel with prismacolor pencils, I fussy cut around them and adhered with pop dots for dimension. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of white card stock and adhered with a glue runner. Last a I added the flowers that have been in my stash forever and added an ivory pearl for the center.

I did not add a sentiment inside, because I'm not sure if I will use this card for a retirement or birthday card. It would work well for either.

The challenge at Crafting With An Attitude ends on October 28th, so you still have time to enter. My team has some beautiful inspiration projects to share with you.

Cute Spooks

"Fall" has officially arrived here in Northeast Ohio. Along with cooler temperatures come bonfires, hayrides, apples, pumpkins, scarecrows and Halloween.

Since I am hostess for the next challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters, I have chosen the theme:
"Cute Spooks"
I can hardly wait to see the children dressed up in their Halloween costumes. For my card, I chose 3 Halloween character stamps as my focus.

I started with a card base of purple, then tore a piece of brown to add as the ground. The two tree were cut from a piece DCWV designer paper and adhered to the base. After stamping and coloring the images with my Prismacolor pencils, I fussy cut around them and added pop dots for dimension. The pumpkins were digi stamps that were colored with Prismacolor pencils and adhered with pop dots. Last I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock, fussy cut around it, then adhered that to a strip of brown card stock and fussy cut a mat.

The Sisterhood team would love to see your creations. For inspiration, check out the teams projects to get you started.

Hope to see you there. Happy crafting!

Susie

Hello everyone. I am excited to announce that I am a new member of LeAnn's World 101 Challenge Blog. Her images are fabulous and I am so happy to be a part of her wonderful team.

For my first team project I have used "Susie" found in LeAnn's shop here.
A piece of white card stock was used for the base. Next I added a piece of dotted brown designer paper, then added the strip of flower paper in the center and overlaid a piece of cardstock beehive paper. The image was adhered to a brown stitched panel. After fussy cutting around the image, I adhered her to the brown mat with pop dots for dimension. The flowers were applied with glue dots and brown pearls were added to the centers. All designer papers are by Ki Memories from their Growing Garden paper pad. Recollections brown cardstock was die cut with rectangle stitched dies from Cheapo Dies. The sentiment is cut from the Growing Garden paper pad. Image was colored using Prismacolor pencils.

I have entered this card in the following challenges:
