My husband's birthday was July 20 and he loves the old sailing ships. So when I received my package of Anna Griffin card toppers for men, I knew this tall ship would be the perfect image for my card.
I began with a card base of cranberry card stock embossed with the Anna Griffing "Rope" folder. Next I added the silver holographic panel. The black card stock was embossed with the Anna Griffin "Herringbone" folder. The ship topper was a little to long for the black panel, so I simple folded the ends to the back of the panel and then adhered it to the silver. Last, I punched 2 stars from gold paper and used pop dots to give them dimension.
I think I will frame this card and give it to my husband as a belated birthday gift. He turns 70 this year and our basement TV room is all nautical. This should fit in perfectly.
If you are up to the challenge, head on over to the Sisterhood and enter your creation. Don't forget to check out my sistah's fabulous projects. You have until 8pm, Sunday August 6th to enter. Limit of 3 entries per person.
