Anything Goes With A Twist

Lisa, our hostess for this week's challenge at the Sisterhood, has chosen "Anything Goes With a Twist" as her theme. Make a card or project using a New item. My new item is this beautiful die by Cheery Lynn Designs called "I Do". This die could be used for anniversary projects as well as wedding. I didn't add a sentiment, because I haven't decided how I will use the card. Have to see if I have any weddings or anniversaries in the near future.

 

Now for the details. I used white card stock for the base, then added DCWV's "All Dressed Up" mat for the background. It's hard to tell, but the silver design is glittered. I then cut a 4"x 5 1/4" panel from silver and placed a 3 3/4" x 5" black panel on top to make the mat for the die cut. The silver metallic ribbon is the Darice "Ohhh So Trendy" line. I found the white daisies in the dollar bin at a nearby Michaels. I am very pleased with the outcome.
