A Day on the Lake

It's time for another challenge at the Sisterhood of Crafters and this week, Lisa is our hostess. The challenge is to create a project using the picture below as your inspiration. I always have a hard time with this type of challenge, but I put on my thinking cap and here is my creation.


All of the designer papers are by DCWV and the stamps are from Stampscapes. The images were stamped and colored with Marvy Matchables Dye inks. The leaves and acorns are some embellishments I have had for years. Brown satin ribbon ties everything together.

I love the Stampscapes stamps, just don't get them out very often. Stamping the images is the easy part. It's the coloring that I is hard for me. One of these days when I have some extra time,  I will have to get out my box of stamps and inks and play.

    Oh my goodness this is Just gorgeous!! A stunning scene and so lifelike! It's like sitting in an adirondack deck chair overlooking the beautiful Stillwater in the woods :)
