This past Saturday was the beginning of the Craft Shows for me. It was at a little church in Louisville, Ohio about 20 minutes from my house. The temperature was in the 60's with rain, so traffic was a little slow, but all in all I thought I did pretty well. After deducting the cost of my space, breakfast and lunch I had a profit of about $50. My items were priced at $5.00 or less.
The biggest sellers were Post-It-Note holders, Notepad with Pencil and Minion Pixie Stix holders. Will have to make more of each of these. Also need to make Christmas gift card holders and money holders.
I had another vendor approach me about doing a craft show at her church in the spring and a customer took one of my business cards and said she would contact me about doing a program for the ladies of her church.
Most of the crafts were knitted items, fleece items, homemade candles, floral arrangements, etc. I think I was the only paper crafter. The crafters filled the halls of the upstairs, downstairs and fellowship hall. (Over 30 booths).
My next craft show will be Saturday, October 3rd at a church in downtown Louisville, Ohio. Hopefully, we will have more traffic. Time to get out the Craft Show booklet and see what other shows I can enter this Holiday season.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.
Hugs,
Terri
