Hello everyone! Today, our hostess for the Sisterhood challenge is Glenda. She is asking everyone to make a birthday card or gift. I found a pack of David Tutera card layers that I had purchased months ago on clearance at Pat Catan's and decided to use them on this card.
The purple mirror board was purchased from Create and Craft TV. Isn't the color just yummy?
The lattice layer had to be cut down for the front panels. I put good use to the left over pieces as you will see on the inside of the card.
I created the layers of the flower with 2 of my SU punches and 1 Martha Stewart punch. Then added a purple gem for the center. The sprigs of green were created using my Martha Stewart sprig punch.
The tag for the sentiment was punched with my SU modern label punch and the stamp is from SU's "Express Yourself" stamp set.
I am so pleased with the way this card turned out. Now I just have to decide who will receive this card for their birthday. I have so many friends who love the color purple.
Guess I will have to see what else I can come up with using this mirror board, so they all get a birthday card with their favorite color.
I have entered this card into the following challenges:
Card Mania - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Crafting From the Heart - Anything Goes
Get Creative Challenges - Flowers
Okay, now why not head on over to the Sisterhood to see what the other sisters have created for your inspiration? Then get busy creating and share your projects with us.
You have until 8pm Sunday, July 19th to enter. Who knows you might be one of our top sisters.
Good luck and thanks for stopping by.
